I recently had a wonderful stay in a real fortified castle in Europe. The rooms were modern and comfortable while still retaining the old brickwork feature wall. The breakfast in the dining room was lovely, offering a great start to the day. the staff were very friendly and accommodating, providing excellent service throughout my stay. The location of the hotel in the largest feudal castle in Europe was truly breathtaking, offering stunning views from the sixth-floor room.

The main restaurant was unfortunately not open for evening meals, limiting the dining options for guests.

The location in an old castle was truly impressive, transporting me back to the Middle Ages and adding an extra charm to my visit. The completely renovated hotel blended modern comfort with historical authenticity seamlessly. The good restaurant exceeded my expectations, offering delicious meals with a wonderful atmosphere. The friendly staff went above and beyond, assisting me with everything from printing out maps to providing directions for hikes in the area. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, offering a wide variety of options to start the day on a high note.

We had an amazing experience staying in a medieval castle during our city trip. the location itself was breathtaking, and the ambiance of the room was perfect for our relaxing getaway. the bathroom was well equipped with all the necessities, and the view from our room was stunning. the breakfast spread offered was delicious and we enjoyed it thoroughly.

We did have a minor complaint about the hotel's wifi connection. Unfortunately, we couldn't connect to the free wireless on our macbook, which was a bit inconvenient.

Impressive building, good breakfast. The rooms were beautiful with exposed stone and medieval scenes. I had a room on the first floor overlooking the courtyard, which was perfectly quiet. At night, the room was silent. The building is awesome! The bedrooms are spacious and great value for the price. I'll recommend this hotel.

Being located in a vast fort, dating back to the Middle Ages, allows you to experience a small French town without sacrificing comfort. I particularly enjoyed doing the guided tour the following day, which provided a fascinating insight into the history of the fort. Staying in a fort itself was a unique experience, and the staff's friendly and accommodating service made it even more enjoyable.
