This hotel exceeded my expectations in many ways. the location is fantastic, just in front of the beach with a beautiful view. The staff were really friendly and helpful, especially when we needed a room on the ground floor for our baby. The rooms were very clean and well maintained, and I loved having a shady terrace to relax on. The pool was large and well-equipped with comfortable sun beds. Finally, the breakfast offered a good variety of choices to start the day.

No major issues, everything was great.

We had a fantastic meal at Restaurant Le Grand Large - Face A La Plage - Ile De Re. Their oysters and fish of the day were delicious, and the service was friendly. The orange parfait for dessert was one of the best I've ever eaten. The local aperitif was also superb. The location of the hotel was great, recommended by the beach café guy. The staff at the hotel were really lovely and so helpful. The room, although a bit small, was very nice. The restaurant terrace was perfect for breakfast.

This hotel offers great value for money. The prices are reasonable for a seaside location, especially considering the beautiful views. The hotel is located in the first village after crossing the bridge, making it conveniently situated right opposite the beach. The basic amenities are well-maintained, and the staff provide excellent service, ensuring that towels are changed daily if required. The rooms with a terrace offer a pleasant place to relax, and the breakfast served is delicious.

The only minor improvement I would suggest is to provide more detailed room descriptions to avoid any surprises.

We were delighted with our stay at Hotel Le Grand Large on Ile de Re. The rooms were nicely decorated and despite being small, they were cleverly designed. The proximity to the car park made it easy for us to access with our baby stroller. The reception staff went above and beyond to help us and ensure our comfort throughout our stay. The evening meal was delicious and a perfect end to our day. we highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant and enjoyable stay on Ile de Re.

Liked the comfy beds and clean bathrooms, as well as the helpful staff. the location was convenient, and the view of the sea was nice.

Disliked that the hotel was wedged into a small residential site, and the view of industrial buildings was not good. the breakfast was overpriced, and parking was limited and expensive.

The hotel is perfectly located directly opposite a beautiful sandy beach with fine views. It is so close to the beach that you can enjoy a leisurely stroll in just a few steps. The room is spotless with a comfortable bed and a good size bathroom. The staff is very helpful and the restaurant offers delicious food at reasonable prices. The pool area is well-maintained with great sun beds and a large pool.

The cancellation policy is heavily biased in favor of the hotelier.
