I recently stayed at a charming hotel next to an ancient abbey in Caen. The stylish room had all the facilities I needed and offered a beautiful view of the city hall. The hostess, Ségolen, was incredibly welcoming and caring. The location was excellent, making it easy to explore the city center. Breakfast was served in a delightful room with a view of Abbaye Des hommes and St Etienne church. Madame Maillot provided exceptional hospitality. Highly recommended for history enthusiasts.

Stunning historic house with beautiful views to the city hall. Rooms are cozy and well-equipped with up to date bathrooms. The homemade breakfast was superb, with a fantastic spread of French pastries, eggs, juice, and coffee. The location is perfect, right in the city center but still peaceful and quiet. Plus, the host was very kind and caring, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The only improvement needed is to have a comfy easy-chair in the room for relaxing after a long day of walking. the dining chairs could be more comfortable, although this is just a minor observation.

I had a wonderful stay at Les Chambres De L'Abbaye. the historic property has been beautifully restored, preserving the original stone work and featuring a lovely garden. the location is perfect, right next to the historic town hall and overlooking the magnificent Abbaye Des Hommes and St Etienne church. the room was tastefully appointed, quiet, and private. Madame Maillot, the host, was extremely attentive and made sure all of our needs were met. the breakfast served in the excellent room was delicious. it felt like a home away from home with friendly staff and a great location.

The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring the city on foot, with everything within walking distance. the breakfast offered a great variety of options and the scrambled eggs were cooked perfectly.

The lack of a trashcan in the room, which would have made the stay more convenient. the climb up the stairs to the attic room was quite steep, making it a bit challenging for those with heavy luggage or mobility issues.

The host was incredibly kind and welcoming. The location is perfect, right at the start of the main road. The room is in excellent condition, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. We had a wonderful night's sleep and enjoyed a delicious breakfast. The host truly goes above and beyond for her guests, making our stay memorable.

Breakfast was delicious and served in a beautiful room. the hostess was extremely attentive and made us feel very welcome. the view from the room was absolutely breathtaking, overlooking a stunning abbey and church. the location was perfect, right in the heart of the city but still peaceful and quiet. Being able to park for free in the nearby underground garage was a huge plus.

Finding the exact location was a bit tricky, and there was limited space to stop and collect the garage keys. the bathroom with the shower was a bit small, and the lighting in the room was quite dim, making it difficult to read.
