We loved the beautifully finished rooms with towelling gowns and slippers, perfect for getting to the shared bathroom. The showers were excellent and the beds were comfortable. As a family of four, it was great value for money. The secure locked bike storage was a thoughtful touch for our cycling trip. The breakfast was delicious and there was plenty of choice. Free parking was available.

We had a fantastic stay at Les Chambres De L'Abbaye. the location was perfect, with lovely architecture and a short walk to restaurants, parks, the river, and the old quarter. the rooms were incredibly clean, with spotless washroom facilities and plenty of towels, bedding, and blankets. the breakfast was simple but fresh and tasty, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and peaceful. the town of Saintes itself was charming, with stunning buildings and friendly locals. We would definitely stay here again!

I recently had the opportunity to stay at a fascinating location - a comfortable monks stone cell in a historical abbey. the experience of walking down the wide and ancient corridors was truly unique. the rooms were beautifully finished to a high quality, and the provided towelling gowns and slippers were a thoughtful touch. the showers were excellent and the beds were comfortable. As a cyclist, I appreciated the secure locked bike storage provided. the breakfast was also excellent and the overall value for money was impressive. Free parking was an added bonus.

The shared bathrooms were clean and there were plenty of them, so I never had to wait. The location of the hotel was also perfect, as it was within walking distance of the town and its attractions. There is even a superb Vietnamese restaurant called GIA BAO nearby, which is located at the top of Cours National. The rooms are comfortable and the beds are of exceptional quality, ensuring a good night's sleep. The breakfast provided is also delicious and satisfying.

The shared public bathrooms in this hotel are in need of upgrading and can be quite busy at certain times.

During our Easter stay, we thoroughly enjoyed the historical ambiance and cleanliness of the rooms. The fact that we could do a self-guided tour of the premises added an extra touch of excitement to our visit. We also had the opportunity to try out the musical carousel, which was a unique and fun experience. The staff members were friendly and provided us with helpful information and recommendations for nearby restaurants.

That the shared bathrooms were a bit worn out and not always well-maintained. It would have been better if the floors were kept dry and used towels were promptly removed.

The buffet breakfast is satisfactory, and the guided tour of the historical building is a must-do. The hotel offers a unique experience, making use of a beautiful and historic building.
