We had a delightful stay at this charming house. The room was beautifully decorated, spacious, and impeccably maintained. The bathroom was excellent, and the breakfast was fantastic, with a variety of fresh options including cheese and jam for our croissants and baguette. The hotel's location was perfect, allowing us to easily walk to the town center with its many excellent restaurants, bars, and shops. We also appreciated the safe parking provided in the hotel grounds.

We loved the location of the hotel, surrounded by a beautiful garden with comfortable chairs where we could relax in the sun. It was also conveniently situated close to the local restaurant, making it easy for us to enjoy delicious meals. the hotel was just a short walk to the center, where we found a variety of very good restaurants to choose from.

The WiFi signal in the hotel was quite weak, which was a bit disappointing.

Estancia increíble en este hotel. La relación calidad-precio, la ubicación y la atención al detalle del hotel simplemente no se pueden superar. Estar a poca distancia a pie de todo en el centro de la ciudad es perfecto para explorar. El personal es excelente y te hacen sentir como en casa. Las habitaciones son muy elegantes y cuentan con unas instalaciones de ducha/baño excelentes. La única pequeña pega es que el hotel está en la planta baja, por lo que hay poca luz natural. Además, el tamaño de la habitación puede ser un poco más pequeño de lo que parece en las fotos, pero no es un problema ya que pasamos la mayor parte del tiempo explorando la ciudad. Definitivamente recomendaría este hotel para una estancia en la ciudad.

My husband and I had a fantastic stay at Maison D'Hotes Il Etait Une Fois. We were visiting Normandy for the D-Day commemorative festivities and needed a hotel closer to Paris. The owner was incredibly welcoming and allowed us to arrive late due to road closures. Our room was beautifully decorated with all the amenities we needed, including tea and coffee making facilities. The breakfast was outstanding, featuring local cheese and a delicious spread of food. We can't wait to return next year!
