The location was fantastic, just a few minutes away from the metro station, tram, and bus stop. It made it so convenient to explore the city. The staff, particularly Alex, were incredibly helpful and made our stay even more enjoyable. The rooms were spacious and very clean, with a comfortable bed and pillows. The bar downstairs was a great place to unwind after a long day of exploring. And the hairdryer in the bathroom was top-notch. I highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful stay in Lyon.

The hotel bar downstairs was a nice spot for a drink in the evenings. a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend Mama Shelter.

However, parking close by can be quite difficult, so it's advisable to use public transportation. Lyon being France's culinary capital, the hotel offers a delightful breakfast buffet with a range of delicious options. The rooms are modern and well-designed, ensuring a pleasant stay.

I loved the quirky decor and the cool atmosphere. The bar area was a great place to hang out with friends and had a good selection of drinks. The breakfast was definitely a highlight with a large variety of fresh and delicious food options to choose from. the location is perfect for exploring the city.

Sadly, the rooms were not as cozy as I would have liked and the lighting was too dim. The toiletries were not restocked, and our room was not cleaned properly during our stay.

We stayed at Mama Shelter for the second time and once again it exceeded our expectations. The concept of the hotel is amazing, creating a fun and relaxed atmosphere that instantly makes you feel like you're on a holiday or at a cool club. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the rooms are comfortable with basic amenities provided. We loved the option of watching free movies in our room. The food at the restaurant is excellent, especially the breakfast, brunch, and dinner options. It's worth making a reservation as the restaurant is always busy. we highly recommend Mama Shelter and will definitely stay here again when we return to this beautiful city.
