We got great value for our money at Residence Le Portillo. The room was clean and spacious, with a fantastic view. The location was perfect – right by the ski piste, shops, and a supermarket. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

Food for breakfast could have been better.

The location of the hotel was perfect, with easy access to local shops, bars, and restaurants. We were also delighted to find that the ski hire at Intersport was conveniently located just two doors away. the view from our room was breathtaking, and we enjoyed skiing out directly from the hotel to the slopes. the ski lockers were spacious, and the accommodation, while no-frills, provided everything we needed for a week-long stay. the staff were helpful, even going out of their way to get us a kettle upon request. it was a great family holiday.

The staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful and provided us with excellent service throughout our stay. They even went above and beyond by preparing a delicious meal for us even though we arrived late at night when the restaurant was closed. the food at the hotel was consistently excellent and surpassed our expectations. Additionally, the location of the hotel was perfect, as it was conveniently situated near the ski slopes and had easy access to nearby shops and restaurants.

One small downside was that the kitchen in our room did not have a kettle, so we had to boil water in a pan to make tea. Additionally, there were a few minor maintenance issues, such as a drafty balcony door and a ski locker door that was often left open, which made it difficult to dry our ski boots overnight.

Loved the friendly and flexible staff, unlike many other French ski lodgings. Great food at the restaurant, and there are plenty of nearby shops and amenities. the location was perfect for easy access to the slopes and exploring the town in the evenings.

Didn't appreciate the €300 card swipe and having to clean the room to their satisfaction before departure. the restaurant and bar not being open during the day was also inconvenient on bad weather days.

I got great value for my money at Residence Le Portillo in Val Thorens. The room was recently refurbished and looked great. The location was perfect, right in the center with easy access to everything I needed like restaurants, bars, and shops. The staff was really nice and even allowed me to have an early check-in and late checkout.

The only thing that could make the breakfast better at the hotel was the limited variety of breakfast items.

Quiet in the evenings despite being in a central area. The bar/lounge area is perfect for relaxing and enjoying a drink. The nearby coffee shop is a great spot to grab a quick caffeine fix. The front desk staff went above and beyond by lending us a sled for the kids. a fantastic stay with great amenities and excellent service.

Being in the upper town center, we had easy access to supermarkets, restaurants, and bars. The ski locker room was secure and convenient, with padlocks provided. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive. The apartments were fully equipped, clean, and comfortable. Having a supermarket in the same building was extremely convenient. We will definitely be staying here again!

Additionally, there were plenty of restaurants nearby, allowing us to easily find delicious meals.

We had a great experience at Residence Le Portillo. The location was perfect, right next to a grocery store and close to ski rental shops and restaurants. We loved being able to ski right from the door and the reception staff was friendly and helpful. The ski locker room was secure and well-maintained. The apartment itself was comfortable and had a cozy chalet feel with beautiful views. The bar and restaurant in the hotel were also fantastic, and we especially enjoyed the terrace overlooking the pistes. we had a wonderful stay.
