My family and I stayed at this beautiful hotel for a weekend getaway. The location is fantastic, surrounded by restaurants and close to the beach and old town. The reception staff was welcoming and efficient, and they even provided an early arrival and bag storage option. The room was spacious and well-equipped, with a kitchenette and a good-sized fridge. We loved the sea view from our balcony and the option to have a continental breakfast delivered to our room. The staff in the breakfast restaurant were attentive and accommodating, and the breakfast buffet had a great selection. Another pleasant surprise was the availability of beach towels. our experience at Hotel Splendid was excellent, and we would highly recommend it.

A warm welcome at the hotel desk made my stay at Splendid truly memorable. Despite my room not being ready, they provided complimentary drinks and snacks in the cozy bar. The staff, especially Frederik, went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The loft room was charming, except for the low ceiling height. The hotel's prime location reminded my children of Disneyland. For a unique dining experience, I recommend exploring the narrow streets beyond the main strip.

We were delighted by the classic and elegant feel of the hotel. The hotel is in great condition, despite its age, and exudes a special atmosphere. The decor, including the padded and upholstered walls, added a touch of sophistication to our stay. The view from our 4th-floor room was simply breathtaking, overlooking the marina in both directions. Moreover, the hotel's location near the beach, train and bus stations, and fantastic restaurants was incredibly convenient. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the staff, especially the friendly ladies at reception who spoke English, were extremely welcoming and accommodating. The breakfast provided was excellent, with a wide variety of choices, and the hotel facilities met all our needs.

Absolutely recommend this hotel for anyone on a city trip. the complementary breakfast which came with our stay was a fantastic way to start each day. the location of the hotel was also perfect. Restaurants, shops and nightlife were a stone's throw away. the room was larger than expected, which was a pleasant surprise. Lastly, the rooftop pool and sun deck made our stay even better.

we were under the impression that the hotel had private beach access, but we soon found out that we had to walk to a public beach which was about a 15-minute walk away. Fortunately, we found a few other beaches nearby which were just as great.

The hotel had a fantastic location, right near the waterfront and with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. the staff were very friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We really enjoyed the breakfast, especially sitting on the outdoor terrace and enjoying the view. Another great advantage was the arrangement the hotel had with private beaches, where guests got a reduced rate for sunbeds and parasols. This was a nice touch and made relaxing by the beach even more enjoyable.

One downside was that our room was a bit small, especially the standard city view rooms. It would have been nice to have a bit more space.

Stayed one night before our cruise. The family room with a sea view had two double beds and a spectacular marina view. Friendly and helpful staff arranged a taxi for our short transfer to the boat. Good breakfast. Would definitely stay again.
