They even offered valuable advice about local attractions and were knowledgeable about dining options, such as Paul Bocuse. The staff's helpfulness truly stood out and enhanced my stay at Villa Florentine.

Located on a hill in the old quarter of the city, this hotel offers stunning views of Lyon. Walking distance to a lovely rose garden pathway and a funicular up the mountain, it provides easy access to the Cathedral. The rooms are comfortable and well thought out, with spotlessly clean bathrooms. The staff is exceedingly helpful and friendly, providing a warm welcome and assisting with all needs. Guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast and take advantage of the excellent pool for relaxation.

The views from the rooms and terraces were spectacular, especially during the new year celebrations. Being able to watch the fireworks over the city was simply breathtaking. the outdoor swimming pool was an added bonus, even though it was too cold to swim during this time of the year. the location was perfect, situated on a hilltop close to the old city, making it easy to explore the historic streets and landmarks. the staff were friendly and accommodating, providing a warm welcome and ensuring our stay was enjoyable.

Although the rooms were cozy and well-equipped, the soundproofing between rooms could be improved. There were instances where noise from neighboring rooms could be heard, which slightly affected the overall tranquility.

Beautiful property with spectacular views. Some rooms have renovated carpets, while others have old wooden floors. Staff is attentive and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. The hotel is located above the city, so be prepared for a climb. The restaurant, Les Terrasses, offers heavenly food and breathtaking views. Delicious buffet breakfast and amenities like pool, sauna, and gym are available. Make sure to request a carpeted room for the best experience.

The staff went above and beyond to make us feel special. The breathtaking views from our spacious room left us in awe. Despite a minor hiccup with the chair, our stay at Villa Florentine was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend this hotel for a truly exceptional experience.

I recently stayed at a stunning 5-star hotel in Lyon for a city break. The former monastery turned hotel offered exceptional service and staff who made us feel like family. The location atop a hill provided breathtaking views of the old town and the city. The hotel had a serene and calming atmosphere, with amenities like a sauna, whirlpool, and a decent-sized swimming pool. The breakfast and food were outstanding, although the prices were higher than expected. it was a welcoming and relaxing place to stay.

We had an incredible romantic escape at our hotel! The staff were absolutely amazing, so friendly and helpful. They even offered us a delicious complementary juice and cakes when we arrived a bit early for check-in. The location was perfect for us, with easy walking access to the heart of the city and stunning views. Plus, the amenities like the pool, sauna, and gym were a great bonus.

There were a couple of minor issues during our stay. Firstly, the room could use a bit of sprucing up.

We spent our new year's eve in a luxurious hotel with very professional and welcoming staff. the views of the city were magnificent and we enjoyed the clean outdoor pool which helped us escape the heat. we loved the two complementary facts offered which made our stay even better.

We ran into some negative experiences. the Wi-Fi quality was quite poor and the gym only had a couple of machines and a bench.
