We loved the cozy atmosphere and the natural surroundings of this budget-friendly accommodation. The shared kitchen was well-equipped, allowing us to cook our own meals. The location near a public beach was convenient for enjoying some beach time. The early check-in was a pleasant surprise after a tiring flight!

The value for money at Painapaopao Backpacker was unbeatable. The room was clean, comfy, and felt like my own private space. The location was great, close to the ocean and easy to hitchhike to the supermarket. The staff, especially Pierette, took excellent care of everyone and made my stay memorable.

I had a fantastic stay at this hostel. The location was great, far enough from the street to be quiet, but close to the Hilton where I could grab a drink or catch a ride back after a day of exploring. The dorm room was fabulous - each bed was separated by a wall, giving it a more private feel. The kitchen was spacious and well-equipped, allowing me and my fellow travelers to cook together. The common area was a fantastic place to relax and hang out with other guests. the staff was friendly and the cleanliness of the hostel was impeccable. I would definitely return again.

There was nothing I didn't like.

Staying at PainaPaopao was like staying with friends. We were a group of solo travelers and did a lot of activities together. the backpack is nice and everything you need is there. Each bed in the dorm room is private with walls around, which is really nice. We were lucky to meet the owner's parents, who traveled the world on their boat. They welcomed us well and hearing their stories made me travel again. the place itself is amazingly arranged, and Marie was the perfect host. She helped us organize diving tours and get a rental car and taxi. the garden is beautiful, perfect for relaxing. Thank you, Marie, for a great stay!

Mind-blowing set up, exceptional hosts and staff, and superb location. Just a stone's throw from the ocean, this hostel is top-notch. Immaculate, cozy, and all-around impressive. Marie and Mikel were absolute gems and the fellow guests during my stay were equally fantastic. Accommodations are semi-private and the layout is perfection. The intimate atmosphere created by a small number of rooms makes this one of the best hostels I've ever been to. Easy access to beaches and stores. Perfect!

I had a great experience at a lovely bungalow surrounded by fruit trees. the kitchen facilities were very good and the owner, Mary, was friendly and helpful. the whole place was clean and well-maintained. It was a budget-friendly option that was about a 25-minute walk from the beach. Thank you, Mary, for providing a wonderful stay!

I had a fantastic stay at the backpacker in Moorea. the location was perfect, situated away from the street, providing a quiet and calm atmosphere. I especially enjoyed the hiking trail to Rotui, which was within walking distance. the dormitory was excellent as well, with each bed separated by a wall, giving it a more private feel. the kitchen was spacious and well-equipped, allowing seven people to cook comfortably. the common area was a great place to relax and socialize with other guests. Arranging for a scooter rental was a breeze, which made exploring the area even more convenient. the cleanliness of the backpacker was impeccable, and it was wonderful to see everyone maintaining it throughout our stay. my experience was memorable, and I would happily return in the future.

My recent stay at Painapaopao Backpacker was incredible. The owner went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, even arranging for an early check-in so I could make the most of my day. The bungalow was cozy and equipped with mosquito nets, providing a peaceful sleep. The atmosphere of the hostel was amazing, with open and airy common areas perfect for relaxing and mingling with fellow travelers. Although the location is a bit out of the way, the experience at this hostel made it well worth it. I highly recommend Painapaopao Backpacker for a lovely stay in Moorea.
