This hotel offers great value for money. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the central location in the old town. The hotel is situated in a fabulous square, adding to its charm. The staff are attentive and provide excellent service. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with a great bathroom. It would be even better if there was a kettle in the room, but overall, it's a lovely place to stay.

We arrived on a Monday when the reception was closed, but the key box made check-in easy. The staff were kind to store our bags. The room was clean with a good bathroom and shower, and the fan provided relief from the heat. The location was great for restaurants and sightseeing. I would recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed the complementary breakfast at the ground floor bakery and the central location near shopping and restaurants. It was great that we could easily explore the area on foot. The staff were also friendly and accommodating.

The lack of an elevator in the building was a challenge, especially since we were assigned a room on a higher floor. the reception was only open during specific hours, which was inconvenient.

The location in the Old Town was superb, with shops, cafes, and restaurants within walking distance. The hotel is also close to the landing docks for Rhine and Moselle river tours. The staff was friendly and helpful.

This hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of the old town, providing easy access to the main square and nearby attractions. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, with modern decor and large bathrooms. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive, providing excellent service throughout your stay. Additionally, the breakfast offered in the cafe downstairs is delicious and relaxed, allowing you to enjoy it whenever you're ready.

It is worth noting that the central location does mean you may hear some noise from late-night revelers, which could be disruptive for light sleepers.

All was good.

We had a great experience at Altstadt Hotel & Cafe. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The food in the cafe below was delicious, especially the breakfast. The location was perfect for sightseeing, right in the heart of the Altstadt.
