Altstadt-Hotel Zum Hechten was right in the heart of town with easy access to shops, restaurants, and cafes. the front desk staff were friendly and helpful, assisting me with my bags and providing excellent service during check-in and check-out. the room itself was spacious, including a small living room and a balcony with a view. the breakfast, which was included in the room price, was delicious and offered a wide variety of options. I particularly appreciated the free transportation pass and restaurant discounts they provided. a great place to stay for families or couples.

I had a blast tracking traces of Ludwig II in the cultural scene, while relaxing in the cozy vitality area and enjoying the real Bavarian tavern culture. Oh, and the breathtaking views in the Königliche Kristalltherme were just fabulous.

The hotel was located in the heart of the old town, making it easy to access various attractions and transportation options. the view from our window was exceptionally beautiful and added to the overall charm of our experience.

We found it difficult navigating the small, labyrinthine roads leading up to the hotel, especially when trying to find it for the first time. finding parking in the area was a bit of a challenge during the busy New Year's season.
