Although the trees obstructed the view, my walk by the lake was still delightful. the location of the hotel was excellent, just a short distance away from restaurants, the ferry, and walking trails. I enjoyed wandering through well-kept paths in the lovely forests by the river and even took a boat back. the room was clean and comfortable, with plenty of storage. the bathroom was well-designed, boasting a spacious shower. the breakfast included various fresh options such as bread, cold cuts, cheeses, eggs, jams, yogurt. the owners were friendly and accommodating. I would definitely choose to stay at Am Obersee Hotel again.

Great hosts, very comfortable beds, and a fantastic location close to the lake. The breakfast buffet was tasty and varied, and the owners were nice and friendly. We also appreciated the free parking included. I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay.

Great value hotel in a beautiful location! the owners were friendly and accommodating. the bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious and varied. the coffee and tea in the room were a nice touch and made our mornings more enjoyable.

The downside was that we had to plan ahead for dinner as the restaurant was closed in the evening. However, this was not a huge issue as we were able to order from a limited menu in advance.

my recent stay in simmerath was delightful, but my stay at am obersee hotel was even better! the location was perfect, close to restaurants and ferry. the room was big and had all the basics, great value for the price.
