I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was unbeatable, right atop the funicular station for easy access to the castle. The hotel was within walking distance of all the main attractions, making it extremely convenient. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with wonderful views of the city. The breakfast provided a great variety of choices and the staff were friendly and accommodating.

This hotel is situated in the heart of Old Town Heidelberg, right below the castle. The balcony in the room provides an absolutely unreal view over the terrace with a castle view. Also, the breakfast was great, and the croissants are the best.

The staff is extremely pleasant and cheerful, providing exceptional service. The room has a huge balcony with breathtaking views. The breakfast is very nice.

Nothing to fault.

The hotel had an amazing view of the city and the castle. the staff were friendly and accommodating. They provided a delicious breakfast and the rooftop garden was a great place to relax. the location was ideal, with easy access to the Old Town and the river. And the room was clean and comfortable, with a kitchenette and a large flat screen TV.

The parking fee was quite expensive at 20 Euros per day. Additionally, there were some cleanliness issues, as we found dust bunnies under the bed that were not properly cleaned even after we informed the staff.

Our stay at Hotel Am Schloss was truly worth every penny. The room may not have been huge, but it was adequate and had a stunning view of the castle. The hotel's location at the bottom of Schloss Heidelberg was perfect, and the staff were incredibly nice and welcoming.

The breakfast option could have been better if there was more variety.

The location was incredible, right next to the castle and with a terrace that made me feel like I could touch it.
