The hotel is ideally located, close to St Bartholomew's Church, immersed in nature and surrounded by mountains. It offers breathtaking views of the Konigsee lake. The rooms are well-designed and thought-out, providing comfort and relaxation after a long day of exploring. The staff is friendly, speaking English fluently, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of delicious options.

The noise insulation of the rooms could be improved.

Excellent breakfast selection. Great location for lake and restaurants. Good for outdoor enthusiasts with gear available. Modern hotel with friendly staff and comfortable rooms. Easy walk to Königssee and quick drive to Berchtesgaden and Salzburg. Nice view from balcony.

The view from our room at Explorer Hotel Berchtesgaden was absolutely breathtaking! We loved waking up to the stunning mountain scenery every morning. The eco-themed design of the hotel, with lots of wood, created a warm and inviting atmosphere. We especially enjoyed the clever seat by the window, which was perfect for relaxing and taking in the panoramic views. The "make-it-yourself" breakfast was a unique touch and allowed us to customize our meal to our liking. we had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.
