I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in a scenic location. Waking up to the stunning views of the surrounding mountains was truly amazing. The hotel is also conveniently situated near restaurants and attractions, making it easy to explore the area. The staff were friendly and helpful, despite the language barrier. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with some offering a lovely view of the rolling hills.

The location of the hotel was perfect, being situated right next to the Ettal monastery. It was a convenient base for exploring the surrounding mountains and enjoying the picturesque views. Additionally, there were several restaurants nearby with beautiful views of the monastery, making it a lovely spot to enjoy a meal.

The towels were not soft and toiletries were not provided in the bathroom.

Lovely location off main road, ample parking. Efficient non-English speaking landlady. Spacious, clean Bavarian-style rooms with nice wooden beams and beautiful views. Wi-Fi available. Traditional European breakfast spread.

The location is ideal, with the famous Ettal Abbey right across the street and only a short drive to the stunning Schloss Linderhof. The hotel itself is housed in a charming antique building, giving it a cozy bed and breakfast atmosphere. The breakfast offered is delicious, featuring a variety of options including bread, jellies, butter, nutella. The views from the hotel are spectacular, and the small town of Ettal is a beautiful place to explore, surrounded by the breathtaking Alps.

Convenient Location and Good Breakfast Selection

Spent my Xmas holiday in a small hotel near a beautiful monastery. Enjoyed the central location, which allowed me to easily access the surrounding restaurants and shops. the breakfast selection was great, offering a range of tasty delicacies to choose from. loved the cozy ambiance provided by the antique furniture in the room.

The hotel was plagued by terrible customer service. the owner was surly and unfriendly, which made my stay incredibly unpleasant.
