I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hotel in a fantastic location. It was right by the cable cars, making it a perfect base for exploring the top attractions in the area. The hotel itself was also conveniently close to Bad Harzburg town centre, with plenty of cafes and shops just a short walk away.
