The hotel was conveniently located near the Hohenzoller bridge, making it easy to reach by public transport and close to the train station with direct services to Cologne Central station. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff went above and beyond to provide exceptional service. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options and was described as one of the best hotel breakfasts ever experienced. The view from the window was breathtaking, offering a glimpse of the nearby Lanxess Arena.

The inconsistent and slow internet connection, which seems to be a common issue in most hotels.

The room I stayed in at Insel Hotel was surprisingly spacious and clean. Despite the lack of air-conditioning, the location was convenient for exploring the city and attending events at Lanxess Arena. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of delicious options. I would recommend this hotel.

This hotel offers great value for money with reasonable prices and a delicious breakfast selection. The location is perfect, close to the train station and just a walk over the bridge to the center of the city. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean with comfortable beds and nice bathrooms.

The room faced the street, so it was noisy at night. The elevator was slow and a bit cramped.
