We were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful historic building and picturesque surroundings of this hotel. The room we stayed in was comfortable and clean, providing a relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast at the dining room was excellent with a variety of delicious options. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even helping us with our language barrier using a translation app. We enjoyed exploring the monastery grounds and the nearby medieval town of Gosslar. I highly recommend this hotel for a taste of real German hospitality.

Location of the hotel was great with easy access to nearby town and beautiful countryside. the building and its surroundings were well maintained and the ambiance of the place was perfect for relaxation. Rooms were clean and tastefully decorated. the breakfast buffet was really amazing, offering a wide selection of delicious food.

Service was spotty, with some unfriendly staff members at reception and lack of help when needed. the wifi was a major issue during the stay and constantly had problems.

The building itself was incredibly impressive, with its monastery grounds, chapel, and herb garden, providing a lovely atmosphere for walks with a pet. The rooms were clean and comfortable, equipped with all the necessary amenities, including a modern bathroom. The staff were friendly, efficient, and accommodating, making me feel welcome despite my limited language skills. The breakfast was delicious, with a special mention for the loose leaf tea, which was a wonderful treat.

Lovely converted monastery with picturesque surroundings, ideal for a peaceful retreat. Upgraded to a larger, brighter room for a small fee. Great breakfast buffet and delicious food at the bistro next door. Rural location with beautiful old buildings and a herb garden to explore.

Felt very well looked after, no reason to complain.
