Loved the wine basement and the delicious international dishes at the restaurant. Breakfast was delightful and the beer garden was perfect for summer dining. Train station nearby was convenient.

The location of the hotel was convenient for accessing the nearby cave in the wine cellar, which provided a unique and interesting experience for our group of friends. We also appreciated being within walking distance of the village centre, although the only available dining option was a shabby Turkish fast food restaurant. Despite disruptions on the railways, the staff at the hotel were helpful and accommodating.

The hotel lacked clear instructions on how to navigate through the roadworks in the area.

We were a larger group of friends and loved the personal style of this beautiful hotel. The location was perfect, with a tram right outside and close to the University in Basel. The food and wine selection were fantastic, with a beautiful old cave showcasing international wines. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

We had a fantastic time during our Christmas stay at this hotel. the location was perfect, just a short tram ride away from the University in Basel where we had some business to attend to. the personal style of the hotel was charming and unique, something we don't often see in the US. the food at the restaurant was absolutely fantastic, with a great selection of wines to choose from. We even found a wine from our year of birth! the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. We will definitely be returning in the near future.

There were a couple of minor downsides to our stay at this hotel. the room was quite hot and the fan provided was a bit noisy, making it slightly difficult to sleep.

I recently had a fantastic stay at a hotel in a small German town. the hotel provided excellent value for money, with reasonable prices and a complimentary breakfast that included delicious options like salmon. Secondly, the staff were very attentive to detail, ensuring the rooms were spotlessly clean and the beds were comfortable. Lastly, the location was ideal, being near the village center where we could find restaurants and shops, as well as a new shopping mall that was still being constructed.

All was well during my stay, nothing to complain about.

The restaurant at Ott's Hotel Weinwirtschaft & Biergarten Weil Am Rhein/Basel had a cozy atmosphere and the food was delicious. I had a wonderful dining experience and the staff were attentive and friendly. The breakfast buffet was also very satisfying with a good variety of options. Additionally, the location of the hotel was convenient, being close to the train station.

Great location near the Germany/France border and just a short tram ride away from Basel city center. Enjoyed walking along the river into France and exploring Basel. the buffet breakfast had a wide variety of options including hot eggs and plenty of choices for a filling meal. the room was clean, quiet, and had good curtains for a restful sleep.

The room could have had a kettle for added convenience. the bed was two single beds pushed together instead of a double bed.
