Spacious hotel in a scenic green area. Apartment offers great value. Clean, functional bathroom. Hotel undergoing renovations with new rooms. Excellent buffet restaurants. Off-season visit was quiet, but likely busy with kids in peak season. Nearby ski area Wasserkuppe is 20 minutes away by car.

The hotel offers a great value for families, with solid beds and spacious rooms. Guests can enjoy a decent breakfast with typical choices. The pools, both indoor and outdoor, are perfect for a family day, providing a "water paradise" where kids can enjoy playing with bubbles and taking water slides. the location is great for hiking, and it offers discounts on activities in the surrounding area.

While the hotel staff is helpful, they are not especially friendly. The bathroom is functional but noticeably dated, and the swimming pool has too little chlorine, which causes ear infections.
