I had the most wonderful stay at this luxurious hotel by the river. The location was absolutely stunning, with beautiful views and the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the scenery. I loved being able to eat outside and soak up the atmosphere. The service here was top-notch, from the friendly and helpful receptionists to the attentive staff in the restaurant. The room itself was spacious, clean, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. I especially appreciated the balcony with river views - it was the perfect place to unwind after a long day of exploring.

Beautiful location on the Ruhr River with great views. Wonderful grounds with a bier garten, lawns, mini-golf, and playground. Restaurant with garden view dining, room with balcony and river views. Modern, spacious rooms, clean. Friendly staff, early breakfast. Quiet renovated rooms.

The hotel is located by the picturesque River Ruhr, providing a beautiful view and allowing guests to enjoy outdoor dining. It is also conveniently situated near excellent shops and cafes, offering a variety of options for relaxation and entertainment. Guests can take advantage of activities such as mini golf, river walks, and boat rides. The rooms are comfortable and well-equipped, with some offering scenic views of the river. The breakfast selection is satisfying, and the service provided by the staff is friendly and helpful.

There are no tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms.

The location was convenient with supermarkets and good bars nearby. the hotel had a German-style beer garden with a nice view of the nearby river. the breakfast was also pretty good with a mix of continental and English breakfast and German specialties like little frikadellen.

The hotel room was dirty, the carpet had stains and the shower wasn't working. We had to request a room change to get a renovated part of the hotel which was up to standard but still felt like just a number.

I had a truly enjoyable stay at this hotel. The comfortable and well-equipped bedrooms provided a peaceful retreat, while the friendly English-speaking staff made me feel welcome. I loved sitting out on the terrace in the evening, sipping a coffee and enjoying the lovely views. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the breakfast offered a variety of delicious options. I would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at this luxurious hotel. The location was beautiful, right along the river with a scenic bike trail. Our room, a spacious Superior Plus Double with a balcony facing the river, was incredibly comfortable. We especially appreciated the huge counter space in the bathroom area, perfect for keeping our belongings organized. Although the weather didn't cooperate, we could tell that the outdoor area was enormous and would be great for hanging out in with nice weather.
