This hotel exceeded my expectations in so many ways. the value for money was incredible. I couldn't believe how affordable the meals were, especially the choice of the day meal which came with a delicious ice cream and sparkling water for just 24 Euro. Secondly, the location of the hotel was fantastic. It was situated just outside the castle walls, providing a stunning view of the castle and the surrounding town. Lastly, the staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. They made sure that every little detail was taken care of, ensuring a memorable stay.

All was perfect, nothing to improve!

Lovely room with a comfortable bed, nice bathroom, and bonus extra room with great view. Fantastic town and valley views from both room and terrace. Tasty food in the restaurant with a good surprise menu and wine selection. Attentive and knowledgeable staff, made for a relaxing stay. Strongly recommended for a genuine castle hotel experience.

The hotel is set in a marvellous location, just outside the castle walls, offering a breathtaking view over the town and valley. The room is spacious and beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom. The staff provides attentive and professional service. The breakfast on the veranda overlooking the moat and the town below is wonderful. The hotel restaurant offers tasty food and a nice wine selection. it's a perfect setting for a relaxing and memorable holiday.

The hotel lacks communal facilities that a conventional hotel would offer.

Amazing views from the top of the hill and a cozy room were two of the highlights of our weekend. Being able to hike in the nearby trails and enjoying the small town charm were also great.

The hotel facilities were not what we had expected. the room was smaller than what was advertised and outdated.
