I recently had a fantastic stay at a hotel in the beautiful island of Crete. The hotel exceeded my expectations in many ways. the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, going out of their way to ensure I had a comfortable stay. The service was top-notch, with a friendly waiter named Dimitris and a helpful bar manager named Alessandro. Secondly, the facilities and location were perfect. The hotel was situated in the heart of a charming town, allowing for easy access to all the attractions. Finally, the breakfast and dinner buffet was simply amazing. Even though I had intended to eat out, I couldn't resist the delicious food served at the hotel's restaurant and ended up dining there every night.

The location of this hotel is perfect, right by the beachfront on a beautiful rugged island. Not to mention, it's situated in the direct center of Plakias, making it convenient to access all the local attractions. The rooms are well-appointed with comfortable beds, and the bathrooms are clean and tidy. The service provided by the staff is impeccable, with them going out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay. The breakfast spread is extensive, offering a wide selection of delicious options. Plus, the hotel boasts a stunning view of the surrounding scenery, adding to the overall charm.

There is one drawback to keep in mind – the lack of steps to enter the shallow end of the pool.

Spent a month in a seaside hotel with a stunning view from the balcony. the bed was cozy and snug. Staff support was amazing, they went out of their way to help with all my necessities. Breakfast was top-notch, with a broad range of options. the restaurant offered excellent themed dishes, helpful staff, and a wide range of drinks, including good wine. the hygiene of the hotel was outstanding, leaving the pool-area and rooms spotless. the nearby area had comfortable access to shops, restaurants, and the beach.

The only negative experience was being unable to use the pool as there were only ladders available at each end, making it tricky to enter the shallow end. Germans appeared to book sunbeds with towels early in the morning, making it challenging to have a good spot.

I recently spent four weeks at Alianthos Garden in Plakias. The hotel exceeded my expectations with its comfortable and well-appointed rooms, especially the beds. The balcony offered a lovely sea view and the staff were attentive and helpful. The hotel was spotlessly clean throughout, and the restaurant served exceptional, varied food. The breakfast buffet had an excellent selection. I highly recommend this hotel.
