We chose this hotel because it was not too far from the center, about a 15-minute walk to the bustling Aristotle Square. The location seemed decent, with a police department opposite the hotel. The staff was helpful in giving us directions and navigating the city. The rooms were comfortable and recently renovated, providing a pleasant stay.

The neighborhood surrounding the hotel was not the safest, leaving us feeling uneasy at times.

The hotel location is great, close to the main pedestrian street and public transportation. Breakfast is very complete, with fresh fruit, pastries, and hot options. the staff is helpful and accommodating, always available to assist if you have questions and offering complementary services such as wake-up calls and early breakfast.

The rooms are quite old and in need of renovation. the decor is outdated and the rooms are not very spacious, making it difficult to move around with multiple pieces of luggage.

We arrived in Thessaloniki after a tiring journey and all we wanted was a shower and a cold bottle of water. Thankfully, the hotel had a powerful air conditioning system that kept the room at a pleasant temperature, even on a hot day. The location of the hotel was excellent, as we were able to walk to all the attractions in the city. The breakfast exceeded our expectations with a variety of options. Despite some minor issues like the noisy police department across the street and a few unclean areas in the city, our overall experience at Anessis was positive. I would recommend this hotel for a comfortable and convenient stay in Thessaloniki.
