had an amazing stay during carnival, even better than previous visits to Patras. Astir exceeded my expectations with their friendly staff, large rooms, and convenient location near the town centre. Highly recommend!

wifi was unreliable

De kamer was ruim en goed uitgerust en had een prachtig uitzicht op het water. De ligging van het hotel was perfect, dichtbij het stadscentrum en op loopafstand van alles wat deze stad te bieden heeft. Het ontbijt in het hotel was overvloedig en heerlijk. Het personeel was uiterst gastvrij en vriendelijk, waardoor ons verblijf nog aangenamer werd. We konden gemakkelijk parkeren op slechts 50 m afstand van het hotel, waardoor het heel handig was voor ons. Kortom, we hebben genoten van elk aspect van ons verblijf in dit hotel.

I was pleasantly surprised by my recent stay at Astir in Patras. The pool and pool bar were fantastic, offering a refreshing oasis on a hot day. The pool was clean and well-maintained, and the pool bar staff were attentive and skilled at making delicious drinks. The breakfast buffet was impressive, with a variety of options to choose from. It was unfortunate that the price was not communicated upfront, but the quality of the food made it worth it. The check-in process was smooth, and the lobby had a nice ambiance. The beds in the room were comfortable, and the overall room was satisfactory.

Air conditioning was a disappointment.

The rooms were incredibly spacious, perfect for a family like ours. We loved that they had interconnecting rooms, making it even more convenient. Everything was spotlessly clean, from the rooms to the bathrooms. Speaking of bathrooms, they were large and had both a shower and a bidet. the balconies were also a great feature, offering stunning views of the port and sea. the rooftop pool facilities were a highlight, and the staff were incredibly helpful throughout our stay. the restaurant served delicious dishes, and the waiter went above and beyond to cater to our needs. the breakfast had a wide range of options, ensuring there was something for everyone. a superb experience at Astir!

If I had to nitpick, maybe the hotel could use some updating.

We were lucky to find a car parking space right outside the hotel, and there were also two public car parks just out of the back entrance. The hotel is conveniently located near the port, bus station, and all the shops, making it the perfect location for exploring the area. Additionally, there is a supermarket right outside the back entrance, which was very handy. Our room had a stunning sea view from the balcony and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The buffet breakfast had a wide variety of hot and cold options, and the staff at the reception were friendly and helpful.
