We had a great weekend at our apartment in Athens. The location couldn't have been better, with key attractions like the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum just a short walk away. The communication with the host was very easy and he even helped us organize airport transfers. The apartment was spacious, with comfortable beds and clean bedding. The air-conditioning, wifi, and TV all worked well. We also appreciated the good quality towels provided.

One small downside was that there was a slightly unpleasant smell in the second bathroom during our stay. Additionally, there weren't enough hooks in the main bathroom for all four of us to hang our towels and clothing.

We stayed for 4 nights as a family of 5 and loved every minute. Nicholas warmly welcomed us and explained everything. The rooftop terrace was a bonus and the AC units in each bedroom and living room kept us comfortable. The central location was perfect for walking to all the main sights and nearby restaurants and shopping areas. The luggage storage closet was helpful too. Our only suggestion would be to add black-out blinds in the bedrooms and more comfortable mattresses in the twin room.

I was able to easily explore all the historical monuments and attractions I was interested in, as they were within walking distance from the apartment. Additionally, there were plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, ensuring that I had everything I needed. The accessibility to public transportation, including the metro and bus, was also a major plus. I found the city's public transport system to be both convenient and affordable. As someone who wanted to venture outside of Athens for a day, I also appreciated the abundance of car rental options in the surroundings.

One minor drawback I experienced was the traffic noise at night due to the apartment's central location. However, I understand that this is beyond the control of the host and it didn't significantly detract from my overall stay.
