The location of this hotel was perfect, right at the harbor and just around the corner from a parking area. I loved that everything of interest was within a short walk, from the Old Town and museums to the lighthouse and restaurants. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with clean and well-maintained rooms. The breakfast provided was delicious and satisfying. The staff was friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable.

As women traveling alone, we felt safe and comfortable throughout our stay. The hosts were friendly and helped us book car rentals and excursions. The room had a lovely view, was spacious, and had good kitchenette facilities. The breakfast variety and quality was great, and the restaurant in the hotel was one of the better ones in the area. highly recommended for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in western Crete.

I recently stayed at the Cretan Renaissance hotel for a few days, and it was an absolute delight. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a beautiful decor that made me feel right at home. The staff, including the owners Nico and Krissa, were incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. The location of the hotel is perfect, with stunning views of the Venetian harbour and Chania town from the large balcony in my room. I enjoyed sitting there during both sunset and sunrise, observing the activities below. The discount offered at the hotel's restaurant, Arismari, made dining there a great value, and the food was delicious.

We had the most romantic and perfect stay in this charming hotel by the harbor. the spacious and immaculately clean room with a balcony view was simply breathtaking. We enjoyed the most delicious complimentary breakfasts and were pleasantly surprised when the hotel provided us with a packed lunch for our day trip to the gorge. the day was made even better with the hotel's prime location, which gave us easy access to all the best restaurants and shops in the area.

We honestly can't think of anything bad to say about our amazing stay. Okay, maybe the lighting near the sink could have been brighter for makeup application, but that's just us nitpicking.
