I had a fantastic stay at a budget self-catering hotel in an ideal location close to the beach and Chania airport. The room was spacious and clean, with blackout blinds and comfy beds. The bathroom was basic but functional, with plenty of hot water. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing a delicious and sunny breakfast. The hotel had a beautiful pool area with sun loungers, surrounded by well-maintained gardens. I especially enjoyed the stunning mountain views from my room. it was a great experience with excellent facilities and service.

The air conditioner in the room was old and quite loud, which was a minor inconvenience.

The location was also convenient, with easy access to Chania airport, Rethymno bus station, and a sunny and nice beach. The value for money was exceptional, and the breakfast provided was varied and plentiful.

The 3-star Cretan Sun was very comfortable, clean, and not noisy. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was convenient for trips and had supermarkets nearby. The hotel had great facilities like swimming pools and a bar, and pets were allowed.
