Just returned from a delightful 3-night stay at this simple, clean hotel in the heart of Athens. The front desk staff were friendly and available 24/7. The hotel is conveniently located between two metro stations, making it easy to get around town. The breakfast was simple but better than most budget hotels. The room, although small, was kept clean and the air conditioning worked perfectly. A bonus was having a refrigerator in the room. Compared to other hotels in its price range, this was great value for money. Also, the neighborhood, although a bit run-down, was safe as long as you returned at a decent hour. There are a few tucked-away restaurants nearby, and I highly recommend trying Klimataria on Theater Square for a memorable meal.

The Economy Hotel in Athens exceeded all expectations with its excellent service, friendly and helpful staff, and perfect location near the city center and metro stations. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with amenities such as air conditioning and a refrigerator. The breakfast provided was also excellent and the staff went above and beyond by providing breakfast bags for our early departure.
