I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in a beautiful bay on the outskirts of the village. The location was perfect, with easy access to the beach and a variety of restaurants and tavernas within walking distance. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with great views and lovely touches like flowers and petals. The breakfast served was delicious, offering a good variety of options. I also appreciated the basic amenities provided, including two bedrooms with twin beds. this hotel offered great value for money and attention to detail.

All was perfect, nothing to improve.

Great food and pool area. Beautifully decorated apartments with comfortable beds. The location is also great, close to the beach and main town area. The Christmas decorations were lovely and gave a festive feel to the overall atmosphere.

The heating system was not working properly, and it was quite cold in the apartment during the winter stay. Some of the staff members could have been more friendly and outgoing towards guests.

My second stay at this welcoming, rustic resort was just as amazing as the first. The family-owned Kokalas Resort truly feels like a home away from home. Solo travelers are made to feel included and there's no extra charge for them. Nikos, the owner, is friendly and helpful, even organizing regular BBQs for guests. The location is convenient, near the bus stop for Chania and Heraklion. The studio apartment was spacious, well-equipped, and impeccably clean, with a daily maid service. The large balcony offered breathtaking views of the sea and mountains. The pool area was well-maintained, with plenty of loungers and parasols. The bar and restaurant by the pool served delicious, reasonably priced food. I highly recommend experiencing the Greek night with traditional music, dancing, and mouthwatering BBQ. But the best part of the resort is the warm and friendly hospitality of Rula, Nikos, and their staff. And let's not forget the amazing bloody Mary cocktails they serve!
