I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived in Fira and was greeted by a friendly member of staff who helped me with my luggage. Sofia, my host, was incredibly informative and welcoming. To my delight, I was upgraded to a deluxe suite, which was beautifully decorated and had the added convenience of two bathrooms. The balcony offered stunning views of the caldera, perfect for relaxation. The location of the hotel was ideal, right in the heart of Fira with numerous options for bars and restaurants just a few minutes away. The staff were helpful and could assist with organizing boat trips, scooter hire, and taxis. The breakfast was decent with good options available.

Although I enjoyed my stay, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. The pool seemed to leave green stains on our swimming costumes, which was a bit concerning.

She personally arranged transportation for me and recommended the best local restaurant. The room itself was private and comfortable, with a stunning view of the sunset. The location was perfect, right in the heart of town with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. my experience at On The Cliff was exceptional and I highly recommend it.

The stairs to and from the hotel were steep and narrow, which could be dangerous for some guests. the room we stayed in had maintenance issues with missing shower heads and bulbs, and we had issues with dead insects in our private pool.
