A green oasis amidst a touristic concrete jungle

I recently stayed at a hidden gem in Hersonissos and it was the perfect escape from the bustling tourist scene. Petra Beach Hotel offers a tranquil atmosphere with its renovated and clean facilities. The pool in the back provided a relaxing spot away from the beach road, and having a pool bar added a nice touch to enjoy cocktails in the evenings. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. The hotel provided free wifi, an electric mosquito repellent, and even a baby cot with bedding. It was a great starting point for exploring the more authentic Koutoufoulari village and other nearby attractions. I highly recommend this hotel for a quiet and comfortable stay in Hersonissos.

The hotel had a great location close to the beach and town centre. the staff were friendly and helpful. the room was spacious and comfortable. the hotel had a great pool area where we relaxed for hours in the sun. the drinks and the food were very reasonably priced. We also enjoyed the festive Christmas decorations around the hotel and the local atmosphere.

The hotel didn’t have heating during our stay and the room was quite chilly, especially during the night. We mentioned this to the staff but nothing was done to improve the situation.

I recently had a wonderful stay at a hotel on the west coast of Crete. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the lively center of Hersonissos and right on the seaside. The hotel rooms were spotlessly clean and modern, with gorgeous views of the pool and sea. The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The breakfast had a good variety of options to choose from, ensuring that everyone's dietary preferences and needs were met. The hotel also had great facilities, including a pool area and a nearby beach where you could rent sunbeds and enjoy refreshing drinks delivered straight to your spot.

That there were moments when there wasn't someone available at the reception desk during my stay, but it didn't have a significant impact on my overall experience.

Quiet, comfortable, short walk to lively area. Very clean, great sea view, relaxing and friendly. Good breakfast, would stay again. Convenient payment option, great location and authentic pictures. Personal, small hotel with excellent facilities. Secluded beach, perfect colors and bathrooms. Immaculate room, helpful staff, beautiful sea view. Close to amenities, sophisticated atmosphere. Can't wait to return.

the location was ideal - right in the heart of the city center and just steps away from the beautiful sea. The convenience of being so close to everything was unbeatable. Secondly, the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure that I felt welcome throughout my stay. Additionally, the rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped with a kitchenette and a balcony - exactly as shown in the pictures. Lastly, the breakfast served each morning was delicious and included in the price, making it a great value for money.

No improvements needed - everything was perfect!

We had a fantastic stay at Petra Beach! the balcony with a sea view was perfect for enjoying our morning coffee. the kitchenette had all the necessary amenities for a holiday stay. the bed was incredibly comfortable and the room was cleaned daily. the staff, especially Spiros, were extremely helpful and friendly. We hope to visit again one day!
