the family running the hotel, especially the two brothers Jannis and Manos, made me feel right at home. They were incredibly nice and caring. the location was perfect, with a nice pool surrounded by a green garden and a bar nearby. I loved waking up to the sound of birds in the morning as they came for water and hid in the trees. the hotel was well-maintained, and the room I stayed in was clean, bright, and airy. the view of the sea from the room was lovely, and there were two terraces to enjoy. the breakfast offered was very good, and the beach was only a 5-minute walk away. the staff was kind, and the hotel's location was ideal for exploring the eastern part of Crete if you have a car. I also appreciated the bookshelves with holiday books in multiple languages that guests could borrow.
