We had a pleasant experience at Portou House in Chania. The modern and clean apartment, located in the historical center, was just a short walk away from the bus station, beach, and restaurants. The staff, who were always available via phone or message, were incredibly friendly and accommodating. We were even greeted with a bottle of wine and a Nespresso coffee machine, which was a nice surprise.

While the apartment was comfortable, there were a few minor issues. The lack of natural light and fresh air due to the windows facing the street gave the room a slightly cave-like feeling.

The building's location in the heart of the Old Town was perfect. It was close to all the main attractions and restaurants, making it easy to explore the area. The hosts were very responsive and helpful, addressing any questions or issues we had. The room was modern and clean, with comfortable beds and a well-equipped kitchenette. The complementary wine and coffee were a nice touch. we enjoyed our stay and the convenience of the accommodations.

Parking was a challenge, as there was no designated parking for guests. The TV was difficult to navigate and only had limited channels available.
