Stayed at a hotel with the perfect location - halfway between the town and the beach. Easy access to both without being too far from either. Rooms were spacious with great air conditioning. The best view on the island and a warm welcome from the owner. Going back for more this year!

The hot water is only turned on at 9am, making it inconvenient for guests who prefer to shower earlier in the morning.

We stayed at Skala Sunset for a month and absolutely loved it. The owner was so friendly, and their adorable little dog was a delightful bonus. The hotel is situated in a peaceful and beautiful location, with stunning views of Ios and charming goats nearby. Our room was spotlessly clean, and the pool and breakfast were fantastic. The staff were always helpful and welcoming. it felt like a home away from home.

Would definitely recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at the Skala Sunset Hotel in Ios for a few days. The hotel provided a free shuttle service to and from the port, which was very convenient. The highlight of my stay was definitely the breathtaking view of the Chora and the sunset from both my apartment and the pool area. The staff were incredibly friendly and always available to assist with any requests. The cleaning service was efficient and flexible with timing. The hotel also served a delicious international breakfast until 11 am. I would highly recommend trying their restaurant, The Mills, located just a short walk from the hotel.

I recommend this hotel.

Great value for money. Rooms were clean and spacious. Location was perfect, between the beach and town. Excellent views. Free shuttle service from the port. The owner was friendly and helpful. The AC worked well.

The hill to get to the hotel was quite steep. The bathroom was on the small side.
