The workshops and activities offered in town were oh-so-fascinating. The food at El Dragon Restaurant was surprisingly enjoyable thanks to those local ingredients. Plus, the hotel had all the necessary amenities, like a bar and a lounge.

Oh, how delightful it was to hear the lovely sounds of barking dogs and crowing roosters at odd hours! Truly, a symphony of nature's finest.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hidden gem on the Lake. With breathtaking views of the volcanoes, El Dragon Hotel provided the perfect place to relax by the water. the hotel's beach bar/restaurant offered stunning views and strong Wifi, allowing me to work while enjoying the beautiful scenery. the clean area by the lake was perfect for swimming, and the hotel even had reserved cabanas. the food and drinks were excellent, offering a wide range of options from American dishes to traditional Guatemalan cuisine. the hotel's proximity to the main tourist area was convenient, being just a short walk away. I found El Dragon Hotel to be a fantastic value and would highly recommend it.

I had the most incredible view from my room at El Dragon Hotel. The sight of the lake and mountains was absolutely breathtaking. The room was clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable stay.

The personnel is kind, helpful, and attentive. The hotel is well-maintained with personal details. The food, especially the pizza, is delicious. The view, terrace, and pool beds are exceptional. Stunning views from the room.

Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes.

The views from the room were absolutely stunning, and the lake was gorgeous and clean for swimming. the outside lounging area was lovely with sun beds available. the restaurant was definitely a big plus with particularly good food. the external space was very nice and well-organised.

The staff was not very friendly or helpful, and for the money we paid we expected someone to be at the reception desk during the day. the level of service seemed poor and the staff was not knowledgeable about who was around.

The hotel is located in a convenient area, not far from the dock of San Marcos and right on the lake. The staff is friendly and the receptionists are excellent. The atmosphere is quiet and the area is clean. The beds and sheets in the rooms are comfortable and everything is kept clean. The hotel offers a small pool with sunbeds and the views from the rooms are amazing.

The restaurant and bar close early in the evening, which may be inconvenient for some guests who want to dine or have drinks later at night.

The garden area was beautifully maintained and the food and drinks were delicious. Great breakfast and mojitos in the sun! excellent value for money.

I had an amazing stay at a lovely hotel in San Marcos. The room with two double beds was spacious, clean, and had a beautiful balcony with a stunning view. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating, and the included jacuzzi and beach bar were fantastic additions. Great value for the money!

I recently stayed at a hotel in San Marcos La Laguna and had a great experience. El Dragon, the name of the hotel, was lovely. The rooms were spacious with comfortable beds and a nice view of the lake. The shower had good pressure and there was decent hot water in the morning. The jacuzzi made up for the small swimming pool with ice-cold water. The hotel's location was perfect, with easy access to street vendors and water taxi boats that took us to different villages around the lake. The staff at El Dragon was incredibly welcoming and friendly. a fantastic stay.

The hotel was overpriced for what it offered, with outdated grounds and buildings. The pool was small and not worth swimming in.
