Staying was a quirky adventure - hiking, swimming, and exploring nearby. Met cool people too. Remember climbing a volcano? It was like that but in a jungle. At the shared lounge, I learned table tennis from a pro. Unexpected twist? Midnight lockout - felt like Cinderella! Also a view worth losing sleep over. No internet at night? Survival training, they say. Heater? Who needs one with a jungle outside. Would go again! 🌴🚪🦟💤🌙

The location was fantastic - a bit of a trek but worth it for the stunning surroundings. Despite some noise by the river at night, the staff was incredible. The hostel had a great vibe, with plenty of chill spots and friendly people. Food availability and preparation could be improved, but overall, a top hostel experience nestled in the jungle.

loved the scenic jungle setting, friendly helpful staff, and large portions of food. greengos exceeded my expectations in lanquin by offering a warm atmosphere, proximity to nature reserve, and well-maintained rooms with good showers and lockers. a great experience overall.

I stayed in this amazing hotel in a rainforest! LOVED the breakfast with many options. the rooms with balcony were my favorite. Definitely choosing this place again! the swimming pool even better than in photos!

I stayed at Greengos for a relaxing getaway and enjoyed a colorful, unique building with plenty of socializing spots. the location was ideal, a short walk to the pools and local guides offering tours. Danny provided excellent service with a smile. There was a delightful local-style buffet nearby, and in the evenings, hot showers with good water pressure. the wooden deck by the creek was perfect for yoga. Overall, a fabulous stay with helpful staff and lovely surroundings.

Pros the vibe here was SUPER fun with mind-blowing food, huge portions, and helpful staff.

Greengos had a great vibe, not overly party-focused. Enjoyed a private room with balcony and pool view, plus hot showers. the owner was friendly and engaging. the pool was inviting, comfy beds, and easy access to Semuc without needing a tour. Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Felt like family, nothing too much trouble.

The building was colorful and fun, great for socializing. Danny was a gem , always smiling and helpful, spoke great English! Location was prime, just a 10, minute walk to the stunning pools. Loved the nearby local buffet restaurant , super tasty options for everyone.

Restrictive rules on outside food and drinks made us uncomfortable. Power cuts were frequent and disrupted our plans.

We were blown away by the creative dishes and jungle vibe—the pool area is a gem for chilling. Big shoutout to the friendly staff, especially Romeo. And that Water is just a stone's throw away!

The initial card policy was a hassle, and some experiences, like pool and jacuzzi use, needed more flexibility. Despite the bumps, the culinary journey here is still worth the trip.
