The views from the rooms were stunning, particularly if you get one facing the lake. The air conditioning worked great, providing a much-needed reprieve from the heat after long days of exploring.

The noise levels were quite bothersome, especially since the hotel is near bars and nightclubs that keep the party going well into the night. Despite the nice views, trying to catch some sleep proved to be a real challenge. Additionally, the shower pressure was disappointing, leaving us to use bottled water for rinsing off. There was a mix-up with room reservations that added a tad more frustration to our stay.

stayed at casa amelia for one night, and it was fantastic! the room was super clean and had a comfy bed. the staff were incredibly friendly. plus, we loved the peaceful views from the restaurant. it's great how they prioritize environmental efforts, like reducing water consumption. definitely a bonus!

i was absolutely appalled by the noise from the street outside, so much for a peaceful getaway. the staff seemed woefully unaware of my existence as bugs decided to join me in my room, yikes! i almost gave a glowing review but expected a complimentary upgrade for all my troubles, what a laugh.

We loved the spaciousness of our room and the strong AC was a lifesaver during the hot days. The view from the top balcony was stunning and truly added a relaxing vibe to our stay. My teenage daughter enjoyed the beautiful lakeside scenery just outside the hotel.

My wife says that the restaurant service was a bit slow.

I had a lovely 3-night stay with a clean room and great A/C that kept me cool after exploring Tikal. The sun terrace was nice for relaxation, and indulging in a full body massage was the cherry on top. Only downside was that the roof terrace looked a bit worn, but overall, it was a solid experience! 😊
