We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! The rooms were small, but spotlessly clean and had a charming small balcony overlooking the lake. The newly painted walls and upgraded bathroom were a pleasant surprise. The hotel also had a cozy book nook in the lobby and a free computer for guests. The staff were friendly and helped us book transportation to places like Tikal and Guatemala City at a reasonable price. The hotel's location at the tip of the island was perfect, just a 5-minute walk to everything we needed. a great value for the money spent.

The room I stayed in didn't have a view of the lake, but faced a busy and noisy street instead. It would have been nice to have a more serene view.

had a great stay at a hotel in Flores, but Hotel La Union surpassed all expectations. The staff were incredibly helpful, allowing me to check in early and even changing my room for a quieter one. They stored my luggage while I was away, and the rooms were clean with a nice view.
