The hotel is perfectly located close to a nature reserve, offering stunning views over the lake. I recently had the most wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is simply breathtaking, nestled right at a beautiful lake in a lovely tropical garden which is well maintained. The rooms, set in this idyllic setting, were really comfortable and had all the basic amenities one would need. I loved waking up to the sounds of nature and being surrounded by the lush greenery. Plus, the fact that breakfast was included made it even better. It was such a great value for the money I paid.

We decided to spend our Christmas holidays in a cozy hotel by the lake. the location was perfect, nestled amongst the trees and surrounded by a serene ambiance. We savored watching the sunset over the lake from the dock and swimming in the crystal-clear waters. the staff was cheerful and helpful, and we liked that they provided free drinking water and the restaurant with tasty food. the rooms were spacious and clean, with a terrace overlooking the garden.

the restrooms were not as clean as we expected them to be, and the rooms lacked essential equipment. the restaurant was relatively expensive, and we thought that the menu should have had more affordable options.

The location, just steps away from the lake, was perfect for swimming and watching the sunset. The spacious room had multiple power outlets and different light options, making it very convenient. The owner, Santiago, was friendly and accommodating. The French special on the menu each night was a delightful treat. Shuttles were always punctual and reliable. I would highly recommend this hotel!

I recently stayed at a charming guesthouse in El Remate called Mon Ami. It had a lovely, relaxed atmosphere, more like a guesthouse than a hotel. I was lucky enough to have the dorm room all to myself, with a comfortable queen bed and a beautiful view of the jungle. The staff, particularly Erika, made me feel incredibly welcome and comfortable throughout my stay. The owner, Jacques, was also friendly and always took the time to greet and chat with the guests. The location was fantastic, right next to the lake, and the food at the restaurant was both delicious and reasonably priced. The rooms were spacious and beautiful, with a large bathroom. The private bridge with a hammock was a wonderful spot to relax and watch the sunset after a day exploring Tikal. the staff, the ambiance, and the amenities made my stay at Mon Ami truly enjoyable.

I had an amazing experience staying at Mon Ami. The hotel's location near the lake provided a beautiful view and made me feel like I was staying in the midst of a jungle. The restaurant served delicious food and the room was not only tidy, but also had a unique and cozy atmosphere. Despite heavy rain outside, the room remained insect-free, which was surprising in such a natural setting. The hotel also offered transportation services to Maya sites and other countries.

I had a wonderful stay at Mon Ami in El Remate. the staff was extremely accommodating, even driving us to the bus stop when we needed to catch a ride to the Belize border. This was especially helpful as we were traveling with two children. the location of the hotel is perfect for swimming, listening to music, and just enjoying life. We loved being right in front of the lake with a private dock, where we could hear different birds and see squirrels. the rooms were simple but clean, and the fresh air during the day and the fan at night made them very comfortable. If you're lucky, Santiago, the owner, can share interesting insights about the wildlife in the region. Plus, it's easy to access nearby attractions like Tikal, Yaxha, and Belize.
