We loved waking up to the breathtaking view of the lake and the mountains. The pool with its bar was a great place to relax, especially since there weren't many people there. The location was perfect, within walking distance to restaurants, ice cream shops, and beautiful lake views. There was this popular spot nearby where they grilled delicious food right in front, and there was a pizza place in front of it. We also enjoyed jumping off the little pier into Lake Peten with our kids. The staff were extremely helpful and arranged a trip to Tikal for us, complete with transportation and a knowledgeable guide. The views from the balcony were simply amazing!

second time at this property and loved it. the bar pool was great, the staff was amazingly friendly and helpful, and the food was yummy. bright spacious rooms with a balcony and lake view was terrific. a must stay if visiting isla de Flores. they also arranged to and from airport pickup/drop off.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The view of the lake and the location on the island were unbeatable. I loved having a little porch connected to my room where I could sit in privacy and enjoy the scenery. The room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable, and the hotel had two pools and a hot tub which were perfect for the hot days. The food at the restaurant was also very good, and I particularly enjoyed the breakfast. The staff was extremely helpful and provided me with all the information I needed about visiting nearby attractions. The location of the hotel was great, as it was in the middle of Flores and just a short walk by the lake to anywhere on the island.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel in Peten. The location right by the lake was perfect and the view from our balcony was stunning. The hotel was very clean and the staff were constantly cleaning the public areas. The breakfast had a wide variety of options and was delicious. The staff were all friendly and helpful, especially the front desk. They even prepared our room earlier for an ill person. we had a great experience and would love to come back.

We had a fantastic time at this hotel in Peten! The staff were incredibly attentive and always available to help with any questions or requests we had. The location was perfect, right at the lakefront, and the small pool was a great place to cool off and relax. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with a nice balcony to enjoy the views. The breakfast, which was included, offered a variety of options and was delicious. The hotel staff also helped us book excursions, which all went smoothly. We would definitely love to come back!

The location of this hotel is fantastic, right on the lake. It provides stunning views and is in walking distance to shops and restaurants. The staff at this hotel are very nice and provide good service. They pay attention to detail, arranging towels and toilet paper to look like sculptures. The basic amenities in the rooms are a bit dated but comfortable. The rooms are also very nice and modern, ensuring a pleasant stay. The breakfast at this hotel is more than what we were used to in hostels. There are 3 options to choose from and the portion sizes are generous.

This hotel is a great find! The value for money is excellent, especially compared to the expensive hotels on the other side of the island. The location is fantastic - right on the lake, providing stunning views. The staff is friendly and attentive, making sure all our needs were met. The basic amenities in the room, including the three double beds for just the two of us, were perfect. The breakfast was delicious, with generous portions and even cow milk containers! One detail I really appreciated was that they allowed us to have a late breakfast one day after returning from a 3am tour to Tikal.

All in all, everything was more than ok at this hotel!

We stayed at Hotel Peten for two nights during our Guatemala trip. The staff was amazing, providing free transportation to the sunrise balloon ride and the ruins. They also took us to an authentic Mexican restaurant, where the grilled beef was outstanding. The pool and bar/restaurant had beautiful views and were incredibly clean. The water pressure in the rooms was the best we've experienced during our trip. a fantastic stay!

balcony could've been more accessible

The value we got for our money was excellent, with clean and tidy rooms and a comfortable bed. The hotel's location was perfect, close to everything we needed and with stunning balcony views of the lake. The staff was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to assist us, even arranging transportation to the hospital and acting as a translator when needed.

The only improvement I would suggest is adding more variety to the breakfast options.

The hotel offered a delicious a la carte breakfast, which was a great way to start my day. the lakefront views from the room were stunning and provided a serene and peaceful atmosphere. the hotel was conveniently located near shops, restaurants, and other amenities, making it easy to explore the area.

The hotel had a restaurant/bar that played loud music until late at night, which could be heard in the rooms. This was a bit bothersome as it disturbed my sleep.
