Found this hotel to be well located close to the city center and a great people-watching location. Had the option of king-sized beds, which seemed to be quite rare in moderately-priced hotels in this area. On Sundays, the promenade is a great spot to hang out and be entertained.

Although upgrades and renovations are happening, there is still lots of ground to cover with repairs and general state of upkeep. Noticed staff walking by without noticing when more coffee was needed and one time took forever for a piece of cake to arrive, even though the restaurant was entirely empty.

They brought us an iron and ironing board, removed a wasp nest from our balcony, and even made photocopies for us, all without any extra charges. The view from our balcony on the 4th floor was lovely, and the room was surprisingly quiet for a good night's sleep.
