The infrastructure is modern and on par with European standards, with none of the typical Guatemalan issues. The staff, despite a communication barrier, were all amazing and helpful. The hotel is peaceful and spacious, providing a calm environment. While it may not offer direct access to the lake or breathtaking views, finding a tuk-tuk is easy. Plus, the hotel's lack of popular amenities meant that it was nearly empty during my stay. A bonus for food lovers, there is a fantastic street food vendor just a short walk from the hotel, offering delicious meals.

The hotel's open architecture, including a rooftop terrace, added to its charm. The clean and newly done twin bed room on the second floor was impressive, with a strong and hot shower. The manager even went the extra mile to ensure a quiet environment by asking guests to turn off their music at 9 pm. a great hotel worth every penny!

One negative aspect was the overwhelming sewage and mildew smell coming from the bathroom after using the shower, which needs to be addressed.
