What a breathtaking location! Surrounded by lush jungle, with stunning mountain vistas and a magnificent waterfall view. the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had an unforgettable experience. Our room was spacious and cozy, providing us with much-needed comfort. the hiking and white water rafting tours organized through the hotel were nothing short of amazing, adding an extra layer of excitement to our stay.

While the self-catering aspect on weekdays was a bit unexpected, the kitchen equipment could use a revamp. the non-functioning fridge and old, rusty kitchen utensils were a minor inconvenience.

My family and I stayed at Hotel Rio for a few days, and it was an incredible experience. The location is absolutely stunning, nestled in the middle of the jungle with a crystal clear river just a short walk away. The terrace offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, where we were lucky enough to spot toucans flying around in the morning. The owner, Pepe, was so attentive and made sure we had everything we needed, even accommodating my daughter's food sensitivities. The newly renovated rooms were comfortable, with the comfiest beds. And the best part? The hotel has the cheapest rafting prices in the area!
