The location of the hotel was perfect for me. It was away from the noise of the main street, but still only a short walk to the beach and other attractions. The room I stayed in was spacious and had a nice breeze, so I didn't even need the air conditioning. I really appreciated that there was no internet in the room, as it forced me to disconnect and relax. I enjoyed using the internet at the sister hotel on the beach, which was also a great spot to hang out.

The only downside I found was the poor internet connection in both the room and the café. If you have work to do, it can be frustrating.

I got amazing value for my money at Posada Las Orquideas. The room was spacious and had a private deck with a beautiful view. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the restaurants and beaches. The staff treated me very well and were always helpful.

One small improvement could be made to the breakfast offerings.

Great location, close to main attractions and in a quiet area. The breakfast was excellent, with a variety of options to choose from. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

The rooms could use some updates and additional furniture. The lack of black-out curtains made the room too bright in the morning.

My purpose for this trip was diving, and Hotel Posada Las Orquideas was the perfect base for it. The location is beautiful, surrounded by lush vegetation, and it's just a short walk to SCUBA Roatan and the beach. The hotel is very clean, with spacious rooms and a comfortable bed. The AC worked well, but I enjoyed the cool breeze and didn't need to use it much. The Wi-Fi was a bit slow, but it was actually a blessing in disguise as it forced me to disconnect and relax. The breakfast served delicious coffee and there were plenty of restaurants and food stands nearby. a lovely stay!

We had a perfect stay at this beautiful hotel surrounded by lush vegetation. the location was ideal, away from street noise but just a 5-minute walk to SCUBA Roatan and the beach. the large and airy room didn't require the use of A/C, even with temperatures in the 80's at night. We enjoyed disconnecting and relaxing, reading without internet access in the room. the hotel was clean, with spacious rooms and a good AC system. the breakfast offered very good coffee, and there were plenty of restaurants and food stands around for other meals. it was a great place for a week of diving.

Spacious, beautifully decorated room with a comfy bed and amazing shower. Incredible balcony with jaw-dropping bay view and hammock. Super helpful staff. New blinds were being put up. Quiet location, yet short safe walk to Westend. Great value for location.

I recently stayed at Hotel Posada Las Orquideas for a short 2-night stay before and after visiting Utila. The spacious and beautifully decorated room had a comfortable bed and a great shower. The room also had a big porch with a sea view, complete with a hammock and chairs. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the hotel offered good diving discounts with EcoDivers, located nearby. The room was clean and well-maintained, with excellent sealant to keep out sand flies. The air conditioning worked well and the generator backup ensured consistent power.

I would be happy to recommend this hotel.

What a gem of a hotel! I had a wonderful stay at Posada Las Orquideas in a spacious and airy room. the small kitchenette and private balcony with a view were perfect for my needs. the staff made me feel right at home, especially after a long flight delay. I appreciated the added security measures and the peacefulness of the location. the breakfast provided was absolutely delicious, and the onsite cafe offered fantastic food. If only I had discovered this place sooner, I would have dined here more often. Plus, being just a short walk away from the beautiful beaches and the main business area of West End was a major bonus.

I had an amazing stay at Hotel Posada Las Orquideas in West End! I was there for 2 nights before and after visiting Utila. The grounds were lush and beautiful, and the rooms and balcony were spacious. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to restaurants and the beach. The on-site Cafe Palo served delicious coffee, breakfast, and desserts. The boho outdoor sitting area offered a spectacular view. The housekeeper was marvelous, and the staff overall were very helpful.

we stayed at this lovely hotel in a quiet location with beautiful views across the bay. the large room and comfy bed made for a comfortable stay, and we especially enjoyed the balcony with its hammock and table and chairs. the staff were incredibly helpful, making us feel at home even when we arrived late due to a canceled flight. We appreciated the small kitchenette in the room and the bottled water provided. the breakfast at the cute onsite cafe was out of this world, and we wish we had discovered it earlier. it was a great value for its location.
