At Oktogon Haggenmacher, we were impressed by the amazing interior design throughout the hotel. the lobby and reception area were particularly stunning. the basement amenities, including the gym and Finnish & infra-red saunas, were available for free and added a nice touch to our stay. Another highlight was the convenient location that allowed easy access to the city center via metro M1 and tram No. 4 & 6. the friendly and kind staff made our experience even better, and we appreciated the overall good public security.

The hotel is well-located in the heart of the city and near to major attractions. the staff members were friendly and provided us with a bottle of complimentary wine and chocolate on arrival, which was a nice touch. there was a discount on the New Year's Eve dinner, which was a lifesaver since most restaurants were closed.

The rooms were too small and the air conditioning did not work, leading to unbearable heat. We could not open the windows due to noise from the busy street.
