The split-level apartment provided lovely privacy with king-size beds and a rollaway bed for our child, making family sleeping arrangements comfortable.

The breakfast area was inconvenient as we had to step outside into the cold weather every morning.

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warm smile. The complimentary drinks and snacks in the lobby were delightful, especially the fresh lemonade and hot mulled wine! I loved lounging on the rooftop terrace with beautiful views—it felt magical at sunset. The spacious apartment was also a huge plus, allowing us to unwind comfortably after a long day of exploring the city.

While the stay was great overall, I found the breakfast options a bit limited. It seemed to lack variety during my stay, and a better selection would have been appreciated. One evening, the heating in our room wasn’t functioning properly, leaving us a little chilly, but the staff was quick to address the issue. It was a minor bump in an otherwise lovely experience.

In my wife’s opinion, an indoor play area would be great.

opera garden hotel & apartments has an amazing location, just a short walk to many attractions. the staff is super friendly, especially mario at check-in, who guided us to our room with great care. one of the highlights was the complimentary mulled wine in the evening, and we loved the convenience of being close to széchenyi baths.
