We had a great value for our money at Aurora Cabins. The room was clean and modern, with beautiful views in all directions. The location was perfect, secluded yet close enough to town and restaurants. The staff was extremely helpful and prompt in their communication.

The location couldn't have been better for our romantic escape. It was close enough to town and the main road, but far enough to enjoy some privacy and stunning views of the night sky. The fact that we could just step out onto our front deck and watch the Northern Lights was absolutely magical. Plus, the cabin had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen and a cozy atmosphere.

Hated: The only downside was that we didn't get to meet any staff during our stay. While they were helpful through communication, it would have been nice to have a personal touch.

Stayed 2 nights at Aurora Cabins Villa as a jumping off point to explore the East Fjords. Fantastic location close to the road and town, yet far enough for dark skies and stars/aurora. Loved the chairs/bench to watch the stars! Owner puts a ton of care and attention into the cabins. Highly recommended for a stay in this area!

Stayed 2 nights as a base to explore the East Fjords. Fantastic location for exploring with close proximity to the road and town, yet still offering dark skies for stargazing. The bench on the small hill provided stunning 360-degree views. Our modern, well-equipped cabin was exceptionally clean, warm, and had double glazing for a quiet stay. The owner clearly puts care and attention into the cabins. Highly recommended for a cozy and personal experience in Höfn.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

My recent stay at the cabins just outside of town was fantastic. The brand new cabins were equipped with everything I needed, including a grill and dishes. I loved the secluded location and spacious surroundings. The owner was extremely communicative and provided great recommendations for dining and activities in the area. Check-in was seamless, with clear instructions sent via email and text. If I visit the Hofn area again, these cabins will definitely be my first choice. I highly recommend this hotel.

We verbleven in een mooi modern hotel. De locatie was perfect, in een rustige buurt. De kamer was gezellig en netjes, met alle nodige faciliteiten. Het ontbijt was verrassend goed, met een ruime keuze aan verse producten. We genoten van het uitzicht op de omgeving tijdens het ontbijt. Gelukkig waren er natuurlijk andere faciliteiten beschikbaar, zoals een parkeerplaats voor gasten.

Helaas was de schoonmaak van de badkamer niet optimaal. We vonden het jammer dat de handdoeken niet fris roken.

We had a wonderful overnight stay at Aurora Cabins, the perfect stop on our 10-day Ring Road adventure. The little touches, like the check out timing displayed in a photo frame and the books about Iceland, added to the charm of our stay.
