The Farmhouse Lodge was perfect for those on a budget. The bed was comfortable, bathroom spacious, and there was a private door to step outside. The breakfast was wonderful and they even had local restaurant menus. Lots of extra heaters provided.

We had an amazing experience celebrating New Year at this lodge. the location was perfect, with easy access to Vik and great for watching the Northern Lights. the room was spacious and comfortable, with warm blankets and a huge private bathroom. One of the best parts was the large window doors that allowed us to watch for the lights right from our room. the staff were very friendly and helpful, providing us with information about road closures and updates on the Northern Lights. Breakfast was delicious and gave us a great start to the day. We also enjoyed the option to use the kitchen, which saved us money and made us feel at home.

There were a few downsides to our stay. the shared bathroom situation was a bit inconvenient, as there was only one bathroom for multiple rooms upstairs.

We had an amazing time at the lodge. the relaxed atmosphere in the evening was just blissful. We loved gathering in the lounge area to use the wifi, check out our photos, and watch the Northern lights. the complimentary tea and coffee were a nice touch. And the breakfast in the morning was fantastic with a wide variety of meats, cheeses, breads, cereals, fruit. the staff also gave us great tips on where to eat.

The breakfast spread is lovely and delicious. The rooms are comfortable and well-furnished with Icelandic woolens. The bathroom is clean and stocked with an awesome rain shower and ionic hairdryer. The dining area offers a beautiful view of the surrounding hills and fields. The checkout process is easy and convenient.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Farmhouse Lodge. The atmosphere and decoration created a perfect blend of modern and rustic/natural furnishing. The host, Fred, was incredibly friendly and provided us with great recommendations for things to do in the area. He even took the time to show me around the hotel when he caught me taking pictures. The location was ideal, situated between Solheimajokul glacier and the black sand beach in Vik. This was by far the best accommodation we stayed at during our 10-day trip around Iceland. The room had a beautiful view of the farm, and the reception gave us a warm welcome. The room and bathroom were impeccably clean and comfortable. Despite the shared bathroom, it never felt crowded due to the small size of the guesthouse. We also enjoyed an amazing breakfast, which was the best we had in Iceland. We are already looking forward to our next visit to the Farmhouse Lodge.

The bed was big and comfortable, and I had access to excellent wifi and a TV in the room. The location was perfect for me, right off the main road and close to Dyrholaey. The breakfast provided was delicious and exceeded my expectations for a guesthouse.
